Van service · Cross-border

Van service JB to Singapore — 12 & 16-seater options.

Smaller, more flexible cross-border transport for teams of 5–15 workers, supervisor groups, supplementary routes, employee transport and ad-hoc charter. Same APAD-licensed operator, same daily reliability — sized for smaller workforces.

Where vans make sense

Six situations where a van beats a bus.

Smaller factory teams

If you have 10–15 workers, a 16-seater van is more cost-effective per seat than a 25-seater bus running half empty.

Supervisor & lead-hand groups

Production supervisors and team leads often travel separately from the main workforce — a dedicated van keeps their schedule independent.

Supplementary capacity

When your main bus is full or a route splits, a van fills the gap without committing to a second bus contract.

Executive & visitor transfers

Singapore HQ staff visiting Johor operations get a dedicated 12-seater van with an English-conversant driver and door-to-door service.

Ad-hoc and weekend coverage

Vans suit operations with irregular weekend or holiday shifts where running a full coach isn't justified.

Specialised pickup routes

If a small worker cluster lives outside your main route's reach, a feeder van connects them to the larger route or runs direct.

FAQ

Van service — common questions

01.Can a van do daily cross-border worker transport?
Yes — vans are licensed for the same routes as buses. The main constraint is capacity. A 16-seater van running daily makes sense up to ~14 workers; beyond that, a 25-seater coaster is more economical per seat.
02.Do vans clear CIQ the same way as buses?
Vans use the same checkpoint lanes as buses (commercial passenger transport). Inspection time is similar. There's no faster lane for vans.
03.Can I rent a van for a one-off trip?
Yes — one-off or short-term charter is available. Quote depends on day, distance and duration. Useful for client visits, factory tours, supplier meetings, etc.
04.What's the difference between the 12-seater and 16-seater?
Both are air-conditioned, GPS-tracked and CCTV-equipped. The 12-seater suits small teams of up to ~10 plus luggage; the 16-seater carries up to ~14 workers and is the most popular van size for daily factory routes. We match the size to your headcount and pickup loop.
05.Can a van do night-shift runs?
Yes, with the same night-shift protocols as buses (dedicated drivers, alertness checks, safety equipment). Often used for smaller night-shift teams where a full coach isn't justified.
